The Municipal House is a posh civic building in Prague that is not only a well known landmark from the outside, but on the inside it houses one of the most prestigious concert halls in all of the Czech Republic… Smetana Hall.
The art nouveau building itself is a sight to see. Located on Náměstí Republiky, the Municipal House is visited by thousands of tourists everyday. They host special events in the evenings such as balls, concerts, fashion shows, and banquets all of the time. And are known for having famous clientele come to visit just as much as to perform.
Unique and grandiose, the Municipal House is decorated with the most beautiful art and details. There is a french restaurant or a cocktail bar to sit at while you wait for your show to begin and much lavish, art deco charm.
