The Czech Republic is a magnificent country and its capital, Prague, is known as one of the most picturesque and magical cities in Europe. With its gothic architecture, charming bridges, and cobblestone streets, it attracts tourists from all over the world. People come to admire the beautiful views of the city, to take photographs of its many sights, and to create memories. Prague is a city which is rich in history, art, and beauty, and this is reflected in its many buildings, statues, sculptures, and streets.
In this post, we are sharing a collection of photographs by Jonathan Reid which truly capture the essence of Prague. The photographs are as vibrant, colorful, and intriguing as the enchanting city itself.
The photographs in this post were taken in Prague during the winter of 2011, when the photographer, Jonathan Reid, visited the city. He wrote of his visit that he, “discovered an enchanted country, full of atmosphere, mystery and intrigue. The country has some of the most outstanding works of architecture in Europe, with over 1000 years of Bohemian history.”
We hope you will enjoy these lovely portraits of Prague and the Czech Republic.
