Botanicus is a Czech organic brand with a wide range of products for your skin, hair and home. Their retail shop in Prague is an absolute dream. When you walk in you can smell all the different teas and herbs they offer as you browse though their gorgeous products.
It is mainly a soap and aroma shop, but they do sell different herbal based products for both your kitchen and bathroom. These items include lotions, salves, candles, soaps, creams and essential oils or specialty pickled products like jams, honeys, and mustards.
The special thing about Botanicus is that all of their products are plant based and completely chemical-free! They have a large variety of different all natural, handmade products that not only make you feel pampered but smell great, too.
All of their products are made in Czech Republic and they have a garden in the village of Ostra near Lysa nad Labem where they grow all of the fresh fruits, herbs and plants used in everything they sell. Also, all of the extracts they put into their products are from fresh – not dried – ingredients.
They have a few locations in Prague but we recommend the one at Týn 1049/3, 110 00 Staré Město, because it is conveniently located in Old Town.
Botanicus is the perfect place to pop in and get both souvenirs and day-to-day beauty products.
