Ieva Ozola is an artist from Latvia who lived in Prague for three years. She is a very talented illustrator and designer who specializes in watercolor and ink illustrations. She began a project in July of 2015, where she sketched one place each day for 365 days. Her little sketches of Prague photographed on location give us a different view of many familiar places which we see through her talented artwork and photography.
The sketches were created wherever she was that day and were posted on Instagram. She never missed a day and she usually used only her small sketchbook with liquid pen, pencils and watercolors.
The results as you can see, are magical. The way she positions the sketches against the background is also so creative, it’s a wonderful art medium she has created and shared with us all.
As you can imagine, this project got her quite a bit of attention, and she was so happy when she was featured in local magazines. What a beautiful and talented young woman!
Ieva likes collaborations with small businesses and start-ups when she can work one on one with clients who are passionate about their work and willing to take risks in redefining their brand aesthetics.
She creates singular, unique designs that show off the distinct personalities of clients, and a big part of her creative process is dedicated to customizing her style to her client’s vision.
