T-Anker is a restaurant and bar in Prague located on the top floor of Kotva, a diverse department store. The restaurant itself is a bit hard to find in the building, but once you get there, it is worth the search.
They do have indoor seating, though I’m not sure who would choose it because the views are really the best reason to come here. On a nice day, when you can see far and wide T-Anker has some of the most stunning views of the city and of Old Town.
The sun terrace is wooden and modern looking and on it are tables with bench style seating beneath individual roofs. This is the perfect place for tourists to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Prague.
The railing along the whole rooftop is lined in flowers and even though some tables don’t have a view of the castle or cathedral, you can see the spectacular Czech architecture of the surrounding buildings from most of the tables.
Though their menu is not the biggest, their food is fresh and tasty and they do have a large choice of local, Belgian, and international beers. Make sure to stop in to get a cup of coffee, a beer, or even a meal just to witness the amazing views and get a great photo-op!
We do recommend that you reserve a table with a view before your visit.
