As you already know, the beginning of the year means movie award season, and a year filled with amazing new films. Last year there were some pretty great films made, my favorite being The Revenant staring Leonardo DiCaprio. I was happy to see a movie like this one, with a meaningful plot and developed characters. It is a great example of exquisite cinematography. The director, Alejandro González Iñárritu, once again proves his talent, making the entire theater full of people think ‘how was this done?’ sequence after sequence. My family and I have been watching all the award shows, and so that has been my inspiration for the week.
